Job Description

The Director will be a critical addition to the NIQ Retail Team in North America. As NIQ has made investments in our capabilities and platform for retailers, it is important that we also invest in new talent to bring these to the market. This role is meant to be a key addition to our team to drive this. The role will sit between GTM strategy / planning, with opportunities to work directly with Sales and delivery teams to build up our capabilities

  • Drive the execution of NIQs Go-To-Market plans to ensure our strategy is implemented for retailers
  • Co-Create sales pitches, help articulate value / benefits for clients
  • Help develop sales process with cross functional partners
  • Bring the broader org up to speed through sales enablement
  • Be a role model and SME for the team in front of clients
  • Grow and maintain select retailer relationships
  • Stay updated on market and competitive environment
  • Bring voice of retailer inside NIQ to cross functional partners in Product, Client Teams, etc
Qualifications
  • 10 years of Retail experience with a retailer or consultant or data/analytics provider
  • High level expertise in retail analysis and data driven decision making (assortment planning, promotions, customer insights, collaboration programs). 1st Party data experience with retailers is key.
  • Demonstrated client facing presentation and selling skills in front of all levels of a retailer / Analytical and able to explain complex topics to clients in presentations and in writing
  • Ability to work cross functionally with sales, finance, HR, and leadership will be critical.
  • Experience with analytics, data science, or software provider are key requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach all levels on client engagement / sales processes
  • Ability to travel about 20% - 25%
