New Hampshire Job Corps is looking for someone who would be interested in teaching Medical Administrative Assistant Trade to 16-24-year old’s with the end goal of passing the NHA exam. Topics that you would be teaching include Orientation to Medical Administrative Assistant Occupations, General Safety (safety in health care, hand washing, code system for major emergencies, bloodborne pathogens), HIPAA, basic computer skills, basic Medical Terminology, verbal & written communication, scheduling appointments, paper & electronic medical records, & health record contents.
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for providing students with industry recognized instruction and training in the Career Technical Training Center leading to full-time jobs, higher education or advanced training. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A minimum of one-year experience in teaching or related field required. Must be CMMA certified. Must possess a valid Driver’s License and meet company insurability requirements. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
