Job Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Director, eCommerce, the fully remote Sales Executive is responsible for achieving sales goals as assigned, in addition to selling NFI’s full portfolio of service lines. Other key responsibilities include identifying and targeting new customers, implementing vertical market strategies, and engaging in community business events.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Generate new account business
Sell to senior supply chain executives
Develop and close sales leads
Develop and deliver customer presentations
Retain and grow existing customer base
Negotiate contract terms, contract structure and product lines
Develop proposals and build customer solutions
Partner and collaborate with Operations and Engineering groups
Manage key administrative tasks including daily CRM activity
Requirements
BA or BS degree required
A minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience with a proven winning track record for developing new business and expanding business base
Proficient in relationship building throughout clients to include C-level executives
Strong analytical skills – ability to assess, design and sell a given solution
Previous eCommerce, Supply Chain, Warehouse or Transportation industry knowledge required
Ability to communicate and negotiate with corporate level staff
Strong general business acumen and maturity
30% travel (under normal business travel environment)

We're seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented E-commerce Sales Executive to join our growing team. In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for generating new business by forging strategic partnerships with senior supply chain executives across various verticals.
Here's what you'll do:
Become an E-commerce Expert: Deepen your understanding of our e-commerce solutions and their impact on the supply chain. Translate this knowledge into compelling sales presentations that resonate with senior decision-makers.
New Account Acquisition: Generate, identify, target and acquire new E-commerce merchants within the NFI eCom 3PL model.
Networking: attend 3-5 conferences per year
Forge Lasting Partnerships: Develop and nurture relationships with key supply chain executives. Identify their unique challenges and tailor our e-commerce solutions to address their specific needs.
Close the Deal: Guide qualified leads through the sales funnel, confidently negotiating contract terms and crafting winning proposals.
Cultivate Growth: Develop and implement strategies to retain and expand existing partnerships, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.
Collaborative Spirit: Work seamlessly with internal teams (Operations, Engineering) to ensure a smooth customer experience and deliver exceptional solutions.
Stay Organized: Maintain a strong grasp on your sales pipeline through efficient Salesforce CRM management, ensuring all tasks and activities are documented and tracked.
The Ideal Candidate:
Self-starter with a proven track record of success in B2C & B2B sales, preferably within the SMB eCommerce market. This segment includes $5M - $250M native and lifestyle brands.
Prior experience working with eCommerce brands using the Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Amazon platforms.
Effectively use social media platforms to drive brand engagement, identify prospects, grow brand awareness, and close new deals.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to connect with senior executives.
Knowledge and experience working with parcel carriers to include FedEx, UPS, USPS and DHL. LTL experience is a .
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify customer needs and develop customized solutions based on NFI eCom ICP.
Closely follow established sales framework & process.
Driven, pro-active, decisive, and entrepreneurial individual.

Adept at contract negotiation and possess a keen understanding of e-commerce best practices.
