Quality Control Specialist to join our team as a key player in ensuring the overall quality control of KD parts, FIFO control, sorting, line-call control and EPI
management.

Reports To: Quality Control Manager
Responsibilities: - Control FIFO process to ensure any old parts inventory status before releasing new parts to prevent any obsolete inventory and line trouble.
- As per request of customers or supplier, make a work order to 3rd party sorting company and supervise sorting jobs to be able to meet production requirements with conformance parts and customer's requirement based on inspection standard.
- Take the necessary action against KD part problem that noticed from either customers or line worker to prevent line shortage and further line stop. Check and replace non-conforming parts to conformance parts at line side and Bin inventory ASAP.
- Monitor inventory status on every logistics procedure until arrives at CY of Glovis Savannah.
- Whenever releasing new EO parts to the CC inventory, all information with IPDN would be shared with related departments through specific mail chain to be able to support HMGMA.
- Conduct a package audit to ensure they have proper labeling, packaging, with a standard, and no part damage.
- Control pilot stage for new vehicle project. Inspect pilot parts based on inspection standard with HMGMA PQ. Cooperate with Glovis HQ to be able to begin improving parts for any quality issue found by inspection.
- Insurance claim process for containers that has caused wet damage on KD parts.
- Monitor and patrol the KD parts located in CC to be able to detect any package issues and other problems in advance.
- Ensure the LOT traceability parts have proper label on the parts and being scanned without failure.
- Additional tasks as assigned by the department head.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: - Bachelor's degree in a related field (Preferred).
- 3 years of experience in Quality Control (Preferred).
- QMS/EMS/OHSAS certification experience; CPIM, ISO
- Experience with SAP and quick system operating.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; able to review, analyze quality data and report quality status in progress
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable sitting for long periods while working on tasks.

The estimated base salary range for the Quality Control Specialist is $55,700-$61,000. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
