Physical Therapist Assistant - Cary, NC

Compensation: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour

Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a Certified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to treat adults and/or pediatrics within a designated area in Raleigh, NC.

We believe collaboration intervention with PT/PTAOT/ST for all ages. 

Duties and Responsibilities: (But not limited to)

As an Experienced Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:

  • Developing or following a treatment plan

  • Educating caregivers and family members of clients on patient care.

  • Evaluating results and progress of Physical therapy on clients.

  • Maintaining professional knowledge and technical progress to provide clients with the best treatment program available.

  • Complying with federal, state, and local certification requirements.

  • Collaborate with Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapists

Qualifications: (But not limited to)

  • Certificate from an accredited program

  • Certified by the National Board for Certification.

  • Compliant with state healthcare regulatory requirements.

  • Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to take care of clients with different personalities.

  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.

  • Ability to assess patient conditions and work with treatment plans.

  • Ability to exercise professional judgment and initiative when analyzing problems and recommending solutions

Added Plus:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience.

  • A Master degree from an accredited university. 

  • Specialization and passion forAdults, Pediatrics and older kids.

  • Spanish Speaking.

  • Any certifications.

  • Potential Leadership role.

  • Cupping (experience preferred)

  • Taping (experience preferred)

  • Dry needling (experience preferred)
