NexThreat, a leading technology company, is actively looking for a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading critical technology programs on an Enterprise level and will be responsible for supporting the Enterprise Operations and Facilities directorate in solving complex problems. 

The Technical Project Manager will be required to apply their expertise in project management, systems engineering, and people skills to a wide range of technical efforts. This includes managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, as well as identifying and mitigating risks. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting high-quality standards. 

The successful candidate will need to be an effective communicator and collaborator, able to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered successfully. They will also need to be able to support the internal Project Management Framework effectively, including developing and implementing best practices, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities: 

- Execute, and close projects assigned by Enterprise Operations and Facilities that meet or exceed HIR objectives 

- Create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, and manage constraints of cost, time, scope, and quality 

- Develop project plans, and milestones and manage project operations 

- Manage project stakeholders, project team, project risk, project schedule, project budget, and project conflicts 

- Ensure team members know and execute their respective roles and the roles of the other team members 

- Ensure production schedules are met and system resources are used effectively 

- Coordinate resolution of production-related problems 

- Ensure proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services

- Any documentation developed by the Technical Project Manager shall be provided to Enterprise Operations and Facilities Management via Microsoft Project, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or Visio via email. 

Other responsibilities:

- Assist Enterprise Operations & Facilities with project management activities relating to (but not limited to): 

- Data Center Migration 

- Facilities Management 

- Server and Storage Management 

- Server and Storage Deployment 

- Server and Storage Migration 

- IT Services Documentation & Rollout 

- Cloud Assessments, Implementations & Migrations 

- Responsibilities involve integration of program, technical, business, systems engineering, and personnel elements of project management, including: 

- Defining requirements, scope of work, and architectures 

- Tailoring and applying program management and systems engineering processes 

- Leading and defending technical and programmatic decisions 

- Developing, managing, and defending cost and schedule 

- Conducting acquisition planning and source selection 

- Driving task completion 

Candidates should meet the minimum qualifications /requirements:

- US citizenship required

- This position requires reporting to Washington DC and regular travel to offices in Northern VA Ability to deliver 3 signed customer references, current or recent (within three (3) years) customers preferably with another government agency 

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience ( 10 years) in one of the following fields or related studies: Engineering; Computer Science; Information Systems 

- PMP, Agile, Lean and/or ITIL-trained and/or certified 

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) 

- Ability to work independently and in a group 

- Experience as a technical project manager 

- Self-starter attitude with initiative & creativity 

- Project Management Software Experience 

- PowerPoint, Excel, Spreadsheet Software 

- Contractor must pass background checks to obtain a U.S. House of Representatives vendor badge 

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience using ClickUp project management software 

- Understanding of Change Management Systems, Process and Documentation 

- Understanding of IT security (Nessus, Risk Management Framework & Security Policies) 

- Understanding of BCDR principles & documentation (Contingency Plans; Continuity of Operations; Failover Testing) 

- Understanding of Data center layout and designs 

- Knowledge of Hybrid, Private & Public Clouds
