Role:

The Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for building, leading and managing the data and analytics team, architecting and implementing data solutions, and driving data-driven decision making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data engineering, and data visualization, as well as experience in managing and leading technical teams.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the data and analytics team, including data engineers, data visualization developer, and data analysts
• Architect and implement data solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines
• Drive data-driven decision making across the organization
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and define data needs
• Develop and execute data strategies
• Manage vendors and contracts
• Stay up-to-date on the latest data technologies and trends
• Other related duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of data engineering, data visualization, machine learning, and big data technologies
• Experience in managing and leading technical teams
• Experience with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, relevant to data engineering and business intelligence
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) is highly desired

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field; MBA preferred
• 10 years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field
• Previous experience in HVAC Industry or other service business preferred

Physical requirements:

• Continuously able to work in office environment
• Continuously able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printer
• Continuously able to sit at a computer for up to 8 hours
• Able to alternate between sitting and standing, as needed throughout the day
• Occasionally able to lift up to 15
• Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking
• Occasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching
• Rarely requires climbing
• Ability to travel if needed
