NEXEO STAFFING is Hiring an IT Support Specialist Near Ogden, UT

Nexeo HR is seeking an IT Support Specialist to support an awesome company in the Ogden, UT area for 2 months. Candidate must have 2 plus years of experience in a technical support role, experience with PC Imaging and development software as well as experience in troubleshooting MFPs, label printers, and handheld terminals.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-tier technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

• Configure, install and manage corporate devices including but not limited to workstations, laptops, MFPs, lapel printers, phones, handheld terminals, and tablets.

• Perform user onboarding and offboarding.

• Keep track of IT assets.

• Manage incoming support inquiries through a helpdesk ticketing system.

• Balance incoming support requests and escalation to other IT personnel while attempting to determine root causes to resolve user issues.

• Assist in creating and maintaining IT documentation.

• Observe all safety rules and promote a safe working environment with team members.

• Maintain strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

• Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.

• Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science or a certificate or program completion in a related area.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support role.

• Hands-on experience with Office365 environment.

• Experience with PC imaging and deployment software.

• Working knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems.

• Experience with troubleshooting MFPs, label printers and handheld terminals.

• Basic understanding of network topologies, protocols, and routing.

• Skill in organization, analysis, time management, prioritization, and the ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.

• Commitment to continuous improvement and quality of support and service.

• Good interpersonal skills and communication to interact with all levels of management.

• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

• Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills to mentor and lead staff.

Pay

$28.85 Per Hour

Schedule

Day Shift I 9:00am – 5:00pm I Monday - Friday

On-call when necessary
