Nexeo is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our team in Logan, UT. As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our inventory control process, ensuring that products are available when needed while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
Responsibilities
• Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
• Stock inventory in designated areas, maintaining proper organization and labeling.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to uphold accurate records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to prevent shortages and excess stock.
• Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to facilitate timely inventory replenishment.
• Utilize inventory management software to track inventory movements and transactions.
• Generate reports on inventory levels and performance metrics.
• Optimize inventory management processes in collaboration with other departments.
• Participate in periodic inventory reconciliations and audits.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Pay
$16.00 - $18.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Monday - Friday | 8:00am – 5:00
