GENERAL SUMMARY
Promotes and sells products and services for Nex-Tech while creating and maintaining a positive business relationship between Nex-Tech and its customers. Responsible for managing relationships with our top-level customers and targeted prospects. Responsible for selling and promoting the entire Nex-Tech product line within specified territory.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Conducts sales calls with existing and prospective customers generating business to achieve sales goals. Generates sales forecasts and call reports. Handles larger revenue accounts and complex sales that require coordination with multiple departments. Updates supervisor regularly on sales activities.
- Interfaces with Customers and sales support project managers to create accurate proposals for all voice and data products and services.
- Consults with customers/prospects for solutions to technology issues; advises them on how Company solutions solve their business issues.
- Follows up with customers on completed projects to ensure customer satisfaction and determine additional interest and business.
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management. Engages in regular and periodic reviews with supervisor. Accepts direction with positive attitude.

- Ability to use a solution selling approach to recognize opportunities, gather customer requirements, and properly recommend products and services.
- Ability to meet sales goals consistently.
· Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kansas driver’s license.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree in Marketing or Computer Information Systems or the equivalent. Minimum of four years professional experience in the Interconnect business.
COMPENSATION
Starting salary ranges from $45,000 – $65,000 depending on experience and is commissionable based on sales quotas.

SALES COMMISSIONS AGREEMENT
Maintains minimum annual production level margin as listed in the most recent signed Sales Commissions Agreement.
