- ClearVista is currently seeking an experienced LSW, RN, or LPN to work in our therapeutic hospital setting as an Intake Assessor. ClearVista is a behavioral health hospital serving the adult and senior population in a contemporary healing environment.
- As an Intake Assessor, you would:
- Receive inquiry calls and assist callers with scheduling a face-face assessment or providing triage to the appropriate community referral based on patient need.
- Assess or ensure assessment by a licensed, qualified mental health professional for patients who present for assessment.
- Coordinate with the physician to ensure appropriate treatment is provided either at the hospital or another appropriate provider in the community.
- Ensure appropriate screening of medical and behavioral emergency conditions.
- Complete all administrative processes of the admission for treatment including, as appropriate, the initial authorization of care with the insurance company/third-party payor.
- Our Intake Assessors must be flexible, with excellent customer service, and be able to review clinical information and present it to the physician on call.
- He/She must be comfortable with entering information into Medik and Salesforce as well as verifying insurance coverage.
- The Intake Assessor must also understand urgency and be able to work well in stressful situations.
- 1 year of experience working in a hospital Intake department and/or behavioral health preferred
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with a team of inter-disciplinary professionals, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public
