Optometry is not just about seeing patients but also includes helping patients with their vision care needs including eye exams, eye surgery, glasses, laser treatments, and more. This position will be responsible for assisting the optometric team with all aspects of patient care from patient exams through final treatment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in the assessment of eyesight, able to communicate effectively with patients and their family members, able to multitask effectively, have excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player, be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment as well as with minimal direction and under pressure to deliver results. This position will require you to be available for weekend hours some days.

Duties:
·Perform comprehensive eye exam on new or existing patients
·Obtain comprehensive vision test for patient(s)
·Assess eye health by using medical tests (e.g., EyeScan)
·Perform glasses fitting and visual therapy (if applicable)
·Complete all required paperwork (i.e., forms) in a timely manner
·Help with patient appointments (i.e., book appointments online or in person)
·Assist with patient care including patient exams, glasses fitting/vision therapy if applicable, final treatment (if applicable), and more (if applicable)
·Lead with minimal direction from supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
