MHC Community Manager with Workamper Setup Newport Pacific Capital, a recognized leader in manufactured housing, RV resort, and apartment community management is hiring a full-time Onsite Community Manager for a manufactured housing community in San Diego, CA. CANDIDATE MUST HAVE YOUR OWN RV/MOTORHOME to live in onsite. This is not a seasonal position. Applicants must include information about your housing setup to be considered for an interview.
Under the supervision of a Regional Manager, the Onsite Manager is responsible for the uniform enforcement of rules and regulations while maintaining good Community relations and ensuring compliance with the law.
Day-to-day tasks may include, but are not limited to:
Ensure a clean, safe, and code-compliant environment.
Uphold and value every resident’s right to peaceful enjoyment of their homesite and the community.
Collect and deposit rent payments, and perform all related data entry and bookkeeping tasks.
Process applications for tenancy and facilitate a seamless move-in/move-out process.
Prepare tenancy contracts and corresponding documents and present them for signing.
Perform routine inspections and take corrective action for noted deficiencies.
Handle resident complaints with urgency and empathy.
Recognize and address maintenance needs.
Solicit third-party contractor bids and oversee contracted projects.
Effectively respond to urgent/emergency situations that occur outside of normal business hours.
Other unspecified reasonable tasks as assigned to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the community.
Desired skills & experience:
One year of experience managing a manufactured housing community.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of the CA MRL, Title 25 and other landlord/tenant laws.
Strong attention to detail.
Rent Manager experience a plus.
