Newkleo is Hiring a Nurse Practitioner Near Augusta, ME

Job Description:

  • Performing physical exams and patient observations.
  • Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms.
  • Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
  • Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests.
  • Monitoring and operating medical equipment.
  • Diagnosing health issues.
  • Administering medicine and other treatments.
  • Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed.
  • Consulting with healthcare professionals and families.
  • Training patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury.
  • Assesses diagnoses and treats patients attending primary health care services with a range of acute, non-acute and chronic medical conditions.

Primary care and preventive management for long-term patients as well as managing acute medical issues as they arise for a complex patient population.

Work hours:

  • Monday - Friday 8 AM – 4 PM

Additional Information:

  • Provide coverage on units for vacations
  • Board certified or eligible required
  • Assignment Timeframe: 3 months
  • No call obligation
  • Patient Panel: 10-12 patients
  • Average Length of Stay: 100 days

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $59.37 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
