Operational Risk Analyst - Mortgage Lending experience - not technical

Skills

· Solid experience with Mortgage Regulatory Compliance and Risk

· Testing – business runs 100 tests annually specific to mortgage loan lifecycle

· Design test, build scope, pull data, and write assessments – currently use Excel

· Need to have a persistent personality, will have to chase down information

· Empower and MSP experience ideal

Duties

· Develop and lead regulatory compliance tests and/or risk assessment projects to assess compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements, industry standards, and operating procedures

· Complete quality control review of loans and incentive programs to ensure both operational and procedural adherence

· Review, analyze, and report on operational risk, quality, service, and controls, improve efficiency and effectiveness, mitigate risk and remediate operational and regulatory vulnerabilities

· Maintain and update Operational Risk procedural manuals, job aides, and tools. Perform in depth and comprehensive gap analyses to determine the root cause of process gaps and regulatory compliance failures

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
