Job Description Job Description Laffey, Leitner & Goode LLC (LLG) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their dynamic team as its Law Firm Administrator. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of one of Milwaukees premier litigation shops, assisting the firms management in daily administrative work, ensuring seamless administrative processes, and supporting the overall success and profitability of the legal practice. Responsibilities: Accounting, Financial Management, and Legal Compliance:Maintain the integrity of day-to-day financial operations and prepare internal financial reports.Coordinate with external payroll vendors, accounting firms, and tax-related obligations.Prepare bi-monthly guaranteed payment ledgers to partners and facilitate year-end accounting.Manage 401k accounting and insurance renewals.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and stay updated on legal requirements affecting the legal industry.Human Resources:Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.Supervise administrative team and maintain personnel records.Update Employee Manual and manage employee benefits.Address HR-related issues and maintain employee relations.Office Management:Supervise administrative operations, and manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities.Implement efficient filing systems and coordinate with vendors for office-related services.Technology and IT Support:Implement and maintain technology solutions for operational efficiency.Provide basic IT support and liaise with external IT services.Communication and Coordination:Facilitate effective communication within the firm, schedule meetings, and manage calendars.Act as a liaison between attorneys, support staff, and external stakeholders.Coordinate the firms membership in professional organizations and collaborate on marketing initiatives.Maintain open communication with founders.Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher.C.P.A. license is desired, but not required.Proven experience in the administration of a professional services business or similar role.Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills with interpersonal abilities and an abilityto read people.Proven proficiency in office software and legal case management systems, particularly QuickBooks and MS Office.References required.Must pass a background check.Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with background and experience.Health, dental, and vision insurance.24-7 parking in direct proximity to the office.FSA benefits.Short and long-term disability insurance.8.5 paid days off for firm holidays.21 PTO days for vacation, illness, and other employee-driven events.401k with non-discretionary 3% employer profit sharing.Paid mobile phone service with family sharing benefits and stipend for new equipment.Eligibility for discretionary year-end bonus based on individual performance and firms financial performance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
