Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Download digital scans and prescriptions
• Read and interpret Doctor's prescription forms to design restorations
• Perform Data Entry functions for digital files
• Upload files for fabrication
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality standards are met
• Design cases according to Doctors' prescription requests using CAD/CAM software
• Operate CAD / CAM equipment such as milling machines and sintering ovens
• Share responsibility for the cleanliness and maintenance of the CAD / CAM room
• Represent the company as a customer support contact for our doctors and answer technical questions as well as general IT questions on how to transmit files to our LAB
• Design dental CAD Full Contour Crowns, Bridges, Split Layers, Veneers, Implants and Diagnostic wax ups
• Maintain strong attention to detail to produce high quality designs that meet doctors' specifications every time
• Communicate with our internal team in order to relay design questions or issues to Doctors

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experienced user of 3Shape and ExoCad software required
• Ability to quickly learn new or updated CAD / CAM software
• Strong ability to meet deadlines and maintain production goals while maintaining superior quality standards for every case
• Implant experience prefered, but not required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent a plus, but not required
• CDT degree a plus, but not required

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• A minimum of 1 year of full time work experience as a dental lab CAD technician
• Experience and advanced skills with Dental Lab CAD / CAM systems and designing software is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
