New York University is Hiring a Grants and Program Administrator Near New York, NY

Position Summary

This position supports research and pathway programming for the department of Endodontics. Manage all aspects of pathway program recruitment and enrollment for pathway programing in the Department of Endodontics, including recruitment process: Advertise the program, manage the program(s) application, screen submitted applications, establish schedules, manage onboarding documentation and compliance. Assist in the coordination of school-based pathway program activities, including management of supplies and budgets. Manage pre-award grant preparation and submission process for the Department. Assist Principal Investigators in preparing grant proposals, to include providing guidance and assistance in budget preparation. Advise and assist department with process and compliance issues related to funding agency regulations and standards, and oversees adherence to university administrative, fiscal, and accounting policies and procedures related to grant proposals. Analyze and review grant budgets for compliance with policies, funding agency requirements, and appropriate accounting protocol and procedures; advise and assist researchers and administrators in grant budgeting, and/or cost sharing requirements, and the use of associated data management and reporting systems and processes. Support IRB application submissions and help ensure regulatory compliance of all IRB-approved projects.

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's DegreeRequired Experience:3 years with program coordination or grants management. Experience in higher education or healthcare, grant writing/management/reporting, budget management or health research.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Strong organizational and administrative skills; ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously; adherence to timelines; strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; interpersonal skills to communicate with both researchers and program participants; proficiency with Proficiency with word processing, database and spreadsheet software.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $67,500.00 to USD $82,500.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
