Job description

New York Therapy Placement Services Inc. is looking to hire a Junior Recruiter to assist with all recruitment-related activities. The Junior Recruiter will play a vital role in the hiring process and work closely with the Recruiters, Hiring Managers, etc., to fill positions with the most qualified candidates. Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Assist the recruiting team with screening resumes.
  • Support the onboarding process of new hires as needed.
  • Partner with the HR department by providing required documents for background checks and follow up with clearance.
  • Follow up with Hiring Managers to confirm that calls are being made to new candidates. Also, check periodically for clear to start/first attend dates after candidates have completed the compliance paperwork and started.
  • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking Sheet with required information and with 100% accuracy.
  • Assist with inputting every prospective new hire into Claims software system.
  • Schedule in-person and remote I-9 appointments.
  • Participate in recruiting events.
  • Assist with organizing career events and job fairs.
  • Always maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with the recruiting team.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with full cycle recruitment.
  • Demonstrate strong administrative experience and general computer literacy including proficiency in data entry, MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Energetic, proactive, and creative individual with a positive attitude.
  • A detail-oriented person with the ability to multi-task and the flexibility to fill in with other clerical duties as needed.
  • Good organizational skills.
