The Nutritionist will be responsible for providing quality nutrition care and education to patients and family members. The person in this role will work under the direction of the Nurse Manager and will assess the nutritional status of patients and recommend the appropriate medical nutrition therapy as it pertains to the patients’ nutritional needs following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Scope of Practice. Additionally, the Nutritionist will provide nutrition counseling to patients and family members as indicated.
