Job Description

The Wound Care Manager is accountable for the daily operations of the Wound Care Center, including staffing, prod uctivity, budget management and service standards. In addition, this position is available to mentor and develop staff, interface with other departments to assure patient throughput, and collaborate with the professional development department to assess and identify the learning needs of the staff. This position works in collaboration with the Program Director and the Medical Director to meet the Center’s program objectives and help ensure optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction. The manager utilizes both clinical and leadership skills to identify opportunities for performance improvement. The manager participates in the selection, evaluation, and coaching of unit employees.
