Intake Medical Assistant - Float
Newburgh, NY (Must be willing and able to travel to Middletown)
New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS), a prominent and respected Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking an Intake Medical Assistant to join a well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation. Practice manages a freestanding outpatient Cancer Center with extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy and Research department.In this role you will:

Manage patient Intakes (Record accurate patient information).
Collect and process lab specimens, perform venipuncture, flu/covid/strep testing.
Conduct audiometry testing, spirometry, PFTS, nebulizer treatments, and urine tests.
Measure and record patients' vital signs.
Prepare patients for examinations.
Sterilize medical equipment and instruments.
Provide assistance to physicians during examinations.
Perform venipuncture & Point of care testing.
Administer EKGs.

We require:

Medical Assistant Certificate and a High School Diploma at least 1 year of experience.
Bi/Lingual, English/Spanish speaking preferred
Proficiency in Word/Excel

Hours: Monday–Friday and alternating SaturdaysSalary up to $25 per hour based on experience.
