This position is engaged in a range of financial activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing. Ideal candidates are those who have excellent analytical skills, are self-directed, accountable, take pride in their work, and are highly productive. Must be a team player able to work with a small team and willing to be involved in all aspects of the department.

Requirements

• 2 years accounts payable or receivable experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Technology savvy – able to work within multiple systems.
• Proficient with Excel, as well as strong command of all MS Office applications.
• Highly effective verbal, listening and written communication skills.
• Proven organizational and time-management skills (ability to prioritize activities and stay organized).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and achieves goals.
• Must have the ability to clearly communicate.

Responsibilities:

• Monitors payments trends to spot anomalies.
• Performs bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assists the accounts receivable team with billing.
• Updates bank transactions in the accounting systems.
• Ensures invoices are entered and paid in a timely manner, resolves any vendor issues quickly.
• Pulls reports and performs ad hoc tasks as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18 to $21 /hour

Required experience:

• Accounts payable or receivable 2 years
