Job Title: LVN

Summary of Responsibilities/ Duties:

• Initiate the Nurse's Skin and Wound treatment upon identification of any skin and/or pressure ulcer.
• Notify attending physician promptly when any skin condition is identified.
• Initiate all treatments immediately as prescribed by attending physician.
• Ensure that all skin conditions have corresponding treatment orders.
• Ensure that all skin problems and pressure ulcers are documented on resident's plan of care.

Requirements:

• Must not have been found guilty of abusing, neglecting or mistreating residents in a health care setting.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of the nursing process
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide quality resident care
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Must possess current state LVN License
• Must maintain current fire safety certification
