Position Overview: Operations Specialist/Project Manager

NM Lab Embedded Entrepreneur Program (NMLEEP) matches entrepreneurs with seed capital, a network of mentors, customers, and investors with the unique expertise and resources of Los Alamos and Sandia national laboratories.

This position will manage the NM LEEP program providing cross-functional coordination, communications, reporting, marketing and operations.

FIXED TERM: The position is presently funded for one year, with the potential for extension pending the attainment of further funding.

Responsibilities include:

• Facilitate marketing and communication of NMLEEP between NM partners to promote the program, recruit entrepreneurs, and develop program supporters.
• Coordinate operational and marketing activities, between the national labs and external partners / service providers.
• Align processes and platforms to carry out marketing, recruiting, and stakeholder engagement tasks.
• Ensure proper documentation and tracking of key program activities for reporting.
• Participate in funding activities that support the NM LEEP.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Substantial operations experience (2 years) in planning campaigns and anticipating issues and challenges and creating solutions to handle them.
• Represent the NM LEEP program by leading business development and outreach efforts to forge strategic partnerships and identify program participants
• Strong oral and written communication skills: technical writing, presentation development, content development, and marketing.
• Undergraduate degree in technology-based or business discipline, with an advanced degree preferred.

This position is hybrid with a required on-site presence in Los Alamos and Santa Fe, NM (Relocation will not be covered).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
