Job Title: Media Director

Congregation: New Life Downtown

Department: Production

Reports to: Production Director

Status: Part-Time 8hrs/week

New Life Church's mission is to make disciples in the Pikes Peak region, by calling people to worship, connect and serve.

To serve New Life Downtown by providing leadership and support in media for Sunday morning services.

• Maintain, purchase, develop New Life Downtown media equipment.
• Responsible for overseeing all media aspects of Sunday morning services (Live Stream, AV/Tech, Pro-Presenter Presentations, etc.)
• Set-up and tear-down media/streaming equipment on Sunday mornings
• Assist in recruiting, leading, and developing the media team.
• Help build relational strength between the media, production, and worship teams.
• Work closely with New Life Downtown Production Director and New Life Worship Pastor to live stream New Life Downtown worship services.
• Prepare ProPresenter Presentations weekly, working closely with Lead Pastor, Worship Pastor, and Guest Leaders.
• Oversee the running of ProPresenter presentations during Sunday morning service

• Demonstrate a servant’s heart, with spiritual maturity and sensitivity
• Possess the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with personal and ministry information
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills
• Be detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and projects
• Be able to work well under pressure and time constraints, utilizing multi-tasking skills and assessment of the priority of the moment, in an environment of changing priorities and demands.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team in a flexible and cooperative manner
• Proven organizational and people skills
• Show proficiency in computer skills including use of MS Office and familiarity with church database systems.
• Show proficiency in ProPresenter and Planning Center Online.
• Demonstrated audio-visual technical skills
• Present as positive and personable with caring and encouraging disposition.

1-2 years of related experience

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to sit and occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Close visual acuity to is necessary to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
