Title: Sr. Controller/Director of Finance

As the Sr. Controller/Director of Finance, you’ll join a dynamic creative agency where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial facets of our organization. In this role, you will lead and manage financial and accounting activities, ensuring precision, compliance, and the overall financial well-being of the agency.

What You’ll Do:

· Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with agency goals.

· Analyze data, trends, and manage banking relationships.

· Prepare and monitor annual budgets, track variances, and recommend adjustments.

· Oversee financial aspects of client events, vendor relationships, and accurate financial reporting.

· Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and implement risk mitigation strategies.

· Supervise accurate and timely payroll processing, staying informed about regulations.

· Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring a high-performance environment.

· Coordinate audits, ensuring compliance with laws, standards, and strategic financial guidance.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

● Bachelor’s Degree Accounting, Finance, or related field.

● Accounting designation (CMA, CGA or CA), or an equivalent combination of related experience and education.

● Ten (10) or more years of progressive experience in financial management, with a significant portion in a leadership role.

● Proven experience in the creative, events industry or a similar field is highly desirable.

● Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.

● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

● Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.

● Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to overall business strategy.

Compensation:
