Paterson is the third largest city in NJ and was once the industrial capital of the United States. Times have changed, and with 29% of the population living in poverty, it is our mission to get make a tangible change for the communities of Paterson. Our AmeriCorps team focuses on eliminating academic barriers that the youth face on their way to academic achievement. Our dedicated team works closely with K-12 students in the Great Falls Promise Neighborhood encouraging and empowering them to reach their academic goals and graduate high school college and career ready. We are looking for passionate, tenacious individuals who are looking to serve the community of Paterson for 1-year at one of our six school-based locations.
