Details:

• The Patient Care Technician (PCT) assists the Nursing and Provider Staff with the provision of routine care to patients who present to New Horizon Family Health Services.

All NHFHS Company employees must be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Experience and Skills:

Education:

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Program with:
  • Patient Care Technician Skills
  • Medication Technician Skills
  • Completion of Emergency Technician Program
  • Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program with 2 years of hospital training as a PCT
  • Veteran: Trained Medic or Corpsman

Licensure/Certification:

• Must be BLS CPR certified.

Knowledge and Skills:

• One year or more experience in medical office based patient care setting
• Must have a working knowledge of computer programs and electronic health records
• Must demonstrate legible handwriting and excellent spelling.
• The ability to accept responsibility and to be a motivated and enthusiastic learner
• Demonstrates courteous and tactful manner
• The ability to work under stress and work well with others
