New Hope of Indiana is Hiring a Staffing Resources Specialist Near Indianapolis, IN

New Hope of Indiana is seeking a Staffing Resources Specialist to join our growing team. Work schedule is day shift, Monday through Friday at New Hope of Indiana’s Payne Road facility. Limited remote work opportunities may be available at the supervisor’s discretion.

What we are looking for: Staffing Resources Specialist

You will be responsible for providing scheduling support to all direct care programs as well as quality assurance duties. You will carry out your duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission and Core Values of New Hope of Indiana.

What your day to day looks like: Staffing Resources Specialist

  • Supports supervisors with scheduling Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) across all New Hope programs using a web-based scheduling tool, filling open shifts as they arise
  • Communicates effectively to assist associates and supervisors, including cordial and efficient telephone and electronic communications, and responding to routine questions
  • Provides oversight and reporting of all associate training requirements covered under BQIS. Maintains tracking spreadsheets and databases associated with BQIS. Cross references existing schedules to current BQIS tracking to ensure accurate status of associate training
  • Enters and updates associate information in web-based scheduling tool as changes arise. Acts as the primary administrator and subject-matter expert for the tool. Offers training and guidance to new associates as necessary
  • Provides backup for administrative and receptionist functions as needed, including front desk coverage at lunches, breaks, or time off
  • Assist with quality assurance initiatives and other administrative and special projects, which may include data entry, surveys, accreditation preparation, associate or client events, etc., as needed

What you bring to the table: Staffing Resources Specialist

  • Must have a High School diploma or GED
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Excel
