Instructional Assistant
New Hope’s Education Department has an immediate opening for a teaching assistant. These positions are not New Hope positions and do not come with New Hope benefits. These positions are grant-funded and hired through Kelly Services. Individuals will be required to work both one-on-one and with small student groupings to administer benchmark and progress monitoring assessments and create reports that track student progress and growth. The teaching assistants will use data to determine the direct instruction intervention programs and teaching methods that will best meet student needs, including how to most effectively group students and use instructional materials. These positions will also lead intervention groups within the classroom and communicate with classroom teachers to provide student data on academic skill mastery.
