New Generation Academy, a fully accredited school, is seeking to hire English Language Arts Tutors for Grades 9-12.

Job Description (Required) :

• Must be comfortable with face-to-face tutoring (some virtual assignments are available).
• Tutors must be proficient in English Language Arts topics for the specified grade level.
• Tutors should be equipped to assist students with homework help as well as closing skills gaps.
• Tutors must have work experience with tutoring or teaching in the subject area(s).
• Tutors must be engaging and enjoy working with and being a role model for students.
• Tutors should be available during the day or late afternoon / early evening for their assignments.
• Tutors must have reliable transportation.
• Submit to a mandatory background check.
• Possessing any of the following is a PLUS :
• A current Georgia Teaching Certificate.
• A bachelor’s degree and at least one year of teaching or two years of tutoring experience.
• Bi-lingual tutoring experience (Spanish).
