Math and English Language Arts Tutor, Middle School, Clayton County.
New Generation Academy, a fully accredited school, is seeking to hire Math and ELA tutors grades 6 - 8.
Job Description (Required):
- This is a face-to-face opportunity only. Please do not apply if you are only looking for virtual work.
- Tutors should be equipped to accelerate student learning using a variety of resources.
- You will use student data to differentiate English Language Arts and Math instruction for your students and adapt lesson plans as needed.
- Tutors must have a minimum of 2 years' experience tutoring or teaching in the subject area(s).
- Tutors should be available after school and the weekend.
- Prospects must pass a comprehensive background check.
- Paid pre-service training and in-service professional development provided.
- You must be prepared to navigate varying technology, both hardware and software, and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
- You must have a proactive approach to work in order to complete deliverables on time and maintain proper work-life balance.
