Under the supervision of the Executive Sous Chef, this position is responsible for maintaining a clean kitchen, properly wash and sort soiled dishes, and keeps dish area free of clutter and organized. This position is expected to follow proper health codes to ensure sanitation processes are being met.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains a clean kitchen, properly wash, and sort soiled dishes.
• Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.
• Maintains clean/dry floors throughout shift.
• Properly washes, stacks, and stores dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
• Understands and complies with County/State/Federal health codes to ensure health and safety of the customer.
• Changes water of machines and sinks every two hours or more often as required by New Freedom Standards, and properly uses chemical dilutions set by Ecolab.
• Assists in the timely storing of food deliveries.
• Maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift.
• Maintains dry storage area and organization of storage shelves.
• Follows posted daily dish cleaning duties.
• Handles chemicals for designated uses/surfaces in accordance with Safety Data Sheets.
• Adjusts quantity of food prep depending on fluctuating peaks in client flow, acuity, and other operational demands while maintaining quality.
• Collaborates professionally with courtesy and tact when interacting with the leadership team, employees, and clients.
• In addition, all other duties as assigned.
