Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of projects from start to finish.
  • Prepare documentation of existing conditions and contribute to the completion of construction-level drawings.
  • Create vision boards and assist Lead Designers in the selection of fixtures and finishes.
  • Collaborate with Designers and the production team to assemble estimated construction costs.
  • Work on multiple projects in different phases of design, switching between tasks as needed.
  • Support the Lead Designers in the Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documentation phases.
  • Contribute to the development of design concepts and provide input during design meetings.
  • Conduct research on materials, building codes, and industry trends.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials and participate in client meetings.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Assist in the coordination and review of project specifications and construction documents.
  • Help ensure that projects are executed within budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Maintain project files, records, and documentation in an organized manner.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year working experience in Residential Design although 2-3 years is preferred
  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Construction Management, Accredited Architectural Degree preferred
  • Proficiency or familiarity with the following software: AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, Gather It, Adobe InDesign/Acrobat, and Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook).
  • Comfortable taking direction from others
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other design and construction professionals.
  • Comfortable working on several projects varying in size and complexity.
  • Proficient in English language (speaking, writing, and reading)
  • Desire to create an award-winning residential design.
  • Willingness to learn our Design-Build process
  • A background in the construction industry is a plus.
  • Have a valid drivers license and own a vehicle

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary at $45,000 - $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
  • Health Insurance - 100% premium paid by the company and 70% of the deductible is also paid after the initial 30% is paid by a participant. 
  • Simple IRA - 3% company match 
  • PTO - increases based on years of service
  • Paid Holidays - 8 days
  • Annual Bonus/ Profit Sharing
