We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our team in a unique role that combines warehouse and IT operations.

Position Overview:
The Operations Manager will primarily oversee warehouse operations, with secondary responsibilities in IT operations. This role requires a professional with experience in management and warehouse operations, who has an interest in or experience with technology. The ideal candidate will effectively manage the warehouse environment and support IT operations when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations:

  • Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Control inventory levels through physical counts and data reconciliation.
  • Plan and implement new design layouts for the warehouse, inspect equipment, and issue work orders for repairs and replacements.
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Schedule and assign employees, follow up on work results, and ensure completion of warehouse operational requirements.
  • Recruit, select, orient, and train warehouse staff.
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees while planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.

IT Operations:

  • Assist in building and upgrading computers as needed.
  • Work with developers to improve warehouse operation systems, primarily from a user perspective (no software development experience required).
  • Fully understand and cover IT operations when necessary.

Schedule:

  • Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Experience in a warehouse dealing with sensitive electronics is a plus.
  • Proficiency in inventory control and cycle counts.
  • Familiarity with computer systems, Microsoft Office Suite, scanner equipment, and digital scales.
  • Ability to manage warehouse staff, including recruitment, performance reviews, and corrective actions.
  • Ambition to gain experience in IT operations is a plus.
  • College degree or equivalent preferred.
