New Directions Technologies is Hiring a Cybersecurity Specialist (RMF) Near Port Hueneme, CA

Job Description:

Knowledge of Navy Access and Authorize (A&A) process.

Proficiency of how interconnected systems and computer networks operate.

Support vulnerability scanning and advising on remediation efforts.

Experience with accessing threats and vulnerabilities to systems.

Skill with ensuring networks and systems are being developed in accordance with RMF standards.

Experience of DoD’s implementation of RMF.

Familiarity of DISA STIGs and SRGs.

Understanding of NIST Security Controls.

Has had documented experience with working on a package that has received an ATO.

Candidate will be required to acquire, within 6 months of hire date, their Navy Qualified Validator’s certificate

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

Ability to work individually and also on a team

Ability to think with a security mindset

Capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgement, and assertiveness

Attention to detail and customer service oriented

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to intended audience

Experience with policy creation and lifecycle management

Experience with accessing threats and vulnerabilities to systems

Has had documented experience with working on a package that has received an ATO.

CANDIDATE MUST ALREADY HAVE OR BE ABLE TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A GOVERNMENT ISSUED SECURITY CLEARANCE
Salary: the expected pay range for this position is $87,360 to $114,400
