Part-time hours readily available with flexible schedules. Full time hours potential with additional hours worked as a mental health aid at Emergency Screening Unit (ESU). ESU is a 24/7, 12-bed locked, LPS designated facility in Hillcrest. Youth come to ESU already on a 5150-hold in need of further evaluation and crisis stabilization. Job Description
Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) is an intensive, one-to-one, behavioral and mental health services program designed to help children, adolescents, and their caregivers implement new behavioral and positive coping strategies to reduce risk of needing a higher level of care or being hospitalized as a result of the severity of their behaviors. TBS provides coaching, case management, and parental support to these clients and families from a strength-based, trauma-informed perspective. TBS Coaches are providing services in homes, residential facilities/group homes, day treatment programs and in some school-settings.
