Location: 1067 Dillerville Rd Lancaster PA 17603

Shift: Day Shift

Duration: Summer

THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS PROGRAM ARE: 

  • To develop the knowledge and theory you have learned in the classroom with practical application and skills development in a professional setting
  • For you to be able to articulate and identify what you have learned from the experience
  • To enable you to better articulate why (or why not) you are interested in this potential career path
  • To gain exposure in the training and support start up activities of new equipment and processes
  • To develop project management skills, from planning to implementing projects
  • Experience the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing engineering field

WHAT YOU WILL GET OUT OF THE PROGRAM:

Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

  • Proactively provide engineering and technical assistance to the engineering team.
  • Support new project implementations and corresponding process documentation.
  • Coordinate training and support start up activities of new equipment and processes.
  • Support new project verification of field measurements and drawing validation.
  • Support integration of new equipment with needed storeroom parts.
  • Support process improvements to the flow of raw materials and supplies from the DC to the Plant.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Actively pursuing a Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Electrical engineering degree
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening
  • Positive and Verifiable Work History
  • Must follow safety guidelines and wear applicable safety equipment, e.g., safety glasses, side shields, approved safety shoes, and other PPE as needed
  • Desire to learn, self-starter, analytical problem solving
