Nevados is a distributed organization with many team members working remotely, while other roles require an in office and on-site presence. Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the role of Director of Partnerships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing customer engagement, developing curriculum for training programs, and cultivating strategic partnerships within the industry. This role requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Training Program Management: 
  • Create and manage a comprehensive training program for customers and new employees, including the development of training curricula and collateral materials. 
  • Conduct training sessions covering various aspects of installation, project layout/design, energy modeling, O&M, PDP process, etc.
  • Gather requirements for a training and certification platform for commissioning, ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry standards. 
  • Strategy and Customer Advocacy: 
  • Develop Nevados ecosystem partnerships (Civil consulting groups, BOS partners, environmental firms, project development design tool companies, surveyors, etc.)
  • Develop and execute a strategy to convert installation risk premiums of our product, the All Terrain Tracker (ATT®), into discounts for customers. 
  • Establish and maintain a network of customer advocates to provide ongoing support and promote technology familiarity. 
  • Product Feedback and EPC Management: 
  • Provide product requirements feedback to the development team and identify opportunities for synergies. 
  • Manage the certification and re-certification processes for an ecosystem of EPCs, ensuring ongoing engagement and quality assurance. 
  • Maintain regular communication with EPCs and other strategic partners to foster strong relationships and identify collaboration opportunities. 
  • Engagement and Site Management: 
  • Facilitate frequent off-cycle touch points with EPCs nationwide to increase brand recognition and preference. 
  • Organize and manage site visits with clients to showcase product capabilities and gather feedback. 
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in solar/solar installation. 
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies to drive customer engagement and loyalty. 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth and collaboration. 
  • Experience managing complex projects and initiatives from conception to implementation. 
  • Knowledge of solar technologies and industry trends. 
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and partners.

$150,000 - $220,000 a year

Actual base salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
