Nevada Copper (TSX : NCU) is a copper producer and owner of the Pumpkin Hollow copper project. Located in Nevada, USA, Pumpkin Hollow has substantial reserves and resources including copper, gold and silver.

Its two fully permitted projects include the high-grade underground mine and processing facility, which is now in the production stage, and a large-scale open pit project, which is advancing towards feasibility status.

Purpose of the Position :

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring safe and successful warehouse activities, including but not limited to, receiving goods and materials, inventory control, records management, and accurate and timely availability of goods in support of underground and surface project construction and project operation .

The incumbent will perform strategic warehousing activities across multiple product lines to ensure value for the Company.

Key interfaces will include project managers, project teams, mine and mill operations leads, administrative groups, etc.

Accountability :

The Warehouse Supervisor reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties :

Projects and Operations Support :

• Develop and execute warehousing strategies and procedures
• Interact with internal teams and contract / supplier partners to ensure accurate and timely availability of goods
• Administer operational procedures for activities including incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current
• Ensure products, parts, or supplies are shipped, distributed, or received in an efficient manner
• Evaluate physical condition of warehouse and equipment to ensure safe and operational condition
• Develop and implement records management procedures

Health and Safety :

• Ensure that all safety procedures and regulatory guidelines are followed
• Demonstrate visible leadership with continual inspection of personnel site safety cards, and routine inspection of the condition of slings, shop tools and portable ladders used across the site
• Support the site safety culture through leadership and regularly engaging with and holding the workforce accountable for safe work practices
• Participate in health and safety meetings and risk reviews as required

Knowledge / Education :

The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas :

• Minimum of five (5) years experience in warehousing, purchasing or procurement role, required
• Familiarity with the mining industry strongly preferred
• Bachelors degree in supply chain management, logistics or business, preferred
• Prior experience utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 software strongly preferred
• Ability to gather, develop and analyze data
• Strong safety behaviors including familiarity with and adherence to all MSHA standards, required

Physical and Mental demands and Requirements

The Warehouse Supervisor will work primarily in an office and warehousing environment with periodic work in a field environment.

The incumbent must be able to :

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. in weight
• Possess a valid drivers license
• Periodically work in environmental extremes (i.e. hot or cold weather)
• Sit for extended periods of time
• Stay alert during periods of inactivity
• Wear all required personal protective equipment at all times
• Walk on uneven ground
