Neurology Center P A is Hiring a HR Coordinator Near Silver Spring, MD

Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for assisting in various human resources functions to include payroll, HRIS personnel records/documentation, and credentialing. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Review approved timesheets, make pay and deductions changes for payroll. Enter doctors, neuropsychologists and CEO’s pay.
  2. Process payroll and run payroll reports for accounting. Distributes paychecks to staff.
  3. Update and maintain employees’ files in the HRIS to include adding/changing and terminating from the system
  4. Assist with the new hire process including employment verification, prepare new hire packets and notify IT and Ops for new employee set up and training. 
  5. Assist with new hire orientation.
  6. Upload 401k contributions report after each payroll into Vanguard. Send check and backup to Morgan Stanley for 401k contribution distribution.
  7. Notify new participants of retirement plan entry date and distribute new participant packet. Make referral changes requests. 
  8. Assist with credentialing processes such as renewal of doctors’ licenses, DEA and CDS for two states. Update credentialing master file.
  9. Maintain the CAQH portal and ensure doctors’ information is up to date.
  10. Ensure Employee Handbook and Benefits Guide are up to date. 
  11. Ensures terminated employees data is removed from appropriate systems.
  12. Assist with the HR Corner Newsletter monthly 
  13. Maintains phone extensions, office addresses and employee titles on the intranet
  14. Back up to Receptionist to include sorting/distributing incoming mail 
  15. Prepare and submit the multi-worksite report for two states monthly 
  16. Compliant with HIPAA, NCPA’s Compliance Plan and Code of Conduct policies
  17. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  1. Some college; BA/BS preferred
  2. Experience with payroll
  3. Knowledge with Benefits/Enrollments
  4. Minimum 1 year of administrative experience; preferably in a health care setting
  5. Strong computer skills with Word, Outlook, and Excel
  6. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
