MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

•ProvidesSkillBuildingServices,including:

oEstablishingclienttreatmentgoals

oProvidingpsychiatricsupports

oIndividualcounselingandtreatment,substanceabusecounselingand

treatment,trauma-informedcounselingandtreatment,familyandgroup

counseling,transitionalcounseling

oPsycho-educationandwellnesseducation

oCommunicatingwithfamily,caseplanningstaffandmedicalpractitioners

oEnhancingcompliance withbehavioralhealthexpectations

oUtilizinginterventionsdrawnfromevidence-basedpsychotherapeuticmodels

oStructuringinterventionstodecreaseproblembehaviorandincrease

developmentallyappropriatepro-socialbehavior

•WorkscollaborativelywithStatePlanServiceproviders,includingPsychosocial

RehabilitationServicesandCommunityPsychiatricSupportsandTreatment,alongwith

Article29ClinicStaff.

•Completesalltrainingrequirements,includingMandatedReportertraining

•Conducts individualpsychotherapyon a regularbasis and family therapy

•Providesmental health referrals as needed

•Attends IEPmeetings and/or school related conferences.

•Participatesin weekly clinicalteammeetings toprovide mental health updatesas wellas educationalupdates on children

•Works in collaboration withother departments, agencies, systems andinstitutions to

maximize scarce resources, aswellas attends quarterly clientservice plan review meetings.
