NetSource, Inc. is Hiring a Medical Lab Quality Control Analyst (HYBRID) Near Malvern, PA

Job Details

Please note that this is a 1 year contract position.

- Position is Hybrid (onsite 3-4 days), Day Shift (normal work hours)
- This role is split between 2 functions: Lab Support/Managing Systems, and Biovia Med Tasks (metrology)
- Providing support for the equipment
- Schedule to have activities done on the equipment
- Open and Close work orders about tasks on equipment
- Experience with Biovia or LMS is highly preferred
- Manage alarms or alerts on equipment
- Must have at least 2 years of experience
- This environment will be highly automated
- Role falls under "System Specialist" kind of role

This is a 50/50 split role between two groups but within the same function. Below are details for each role:

General requirements for the role:
Excellent communications skills required
Excellent time management and organizational skills required
Track record of being able to multi-task
Previous GxP experience preferred
Previous inventory management experience preferred (Maximo would be an example)
Familiarity with Biovia or LIMs software preferred

Biovia Equipment Tasks (50%)
Metrology event alignment between groups.
o I get an error list daily with the events that won t update to OneLab because of a mismatch among the instruments in the type. This most often occurs because one or more instruments have a different interval.
o There is a list for event addition and event synchronization.
New equipment addition.
o A daily readout of Maximo provides a list of equipment missing from OneLab.
o The list needs to be cleaned before any instruments can be imported to OneLab.
Curation of Equipment
o Decommissioned instruments need to be inactivated in OneLab.
Most importantly is decommissioned child equipment.
Metrology corrections
o When a new event is created in Maximo with a different description or different event type, that becomes a new event in OneLab. The old event will not update and can t be removed. The old event now will need to be manually updated forever to not interfere with the current events.

PAS CAL Support (50%)
Manage analytical equipment related to Cal Lab in M11
o Schedule and host vendor visits for repairs and calibration activity
o Communicate with PAS Team on instrument related items
o Obtain quotes and purchase vendor contracts on equipment
o Work within Maximo system for scheduling and work order activities
o Assist with onboarding of new assets and decommissioning of retired systems
o Manage pipets within the laboratory
