Netranom is a West Virginia based technology solutions provider seeking a IT Field Technician to join a team of technology professionals in the Charleston, WV area. This position will consist of managing networks by traveling to local client sites to design, implement and maintain customer's networks. Candidate will work with sales staff and clients to continually update and enhance customer networks.

Duties & Essential Job Functions

Installation and maintenance of network infrastructure, server administration, virus protections, data security, data backup, router configuration and install, firewall maintenance, etc.

• Company vehicle provided. (Good driving record necessary.)

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.
• Excellent listening and communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong customer relationship skills. Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated.
• Ability to provide and maintain detailed documentation on each job.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to effectively communicate through e-mail. Intermediate knowledge in routers, switches, and other networking devices.
• General knowledge in managing Microsoft Server Operating Systems and Networks.
• Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Workstation Operating Systems and Applications.
• Ability to remain in contact with the client thru the completion of the incident.
• Problem-solving abilities and ability to meet reasonable deadlines.
• Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships. Willingness to develop professionally.
• Ability to work with little supervision. Relative certifications a plus.
• Candidate should have 2 years experience in a similar role.
