NetJets is Hiring a Tax Analyst (NJUS) Near Columbus, OH

Purpose of Position

A Tax Analyst prepares direct and indirect tax returns, related reports, tax depreciation schedules and supporting schedules for tax returns; performs introductory level tax research and tax accounting calculations; gathers information for tax audits and responds to information document requests. A Tax Analyst also provides support to Tax Management with tax planning and other tax projects as needed.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Preparation of tax returns, including supporting schedules, under supervision of tax management.
  • Perform tax accounting calculations and prepare supporting work papers.
  • Gathering information in support of tax audits.
  • Research tax consequences of transactions, under supervision of tax management.
  • Other projects as assigned

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in federal and multi-state income tax compliance preferred.
  • Knowledge of tax return software (or equivalent) preferred;
  • Experience with indirect tax returns (property and excise tax) preferred;
  • Experience with consolidated federal income tax returns preferred;
  • Some international tax and FAS 109 experience helpful.
  • Other skills needed: Strong Accounting skills, Strong communication skills (including written communication skills); Data Analysis skills; Excellent Computer Skills in the area of MS Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat
