Job Description

We have a remote opportunity for a Senior .NET Developer to join our team, supporting a federal client in Washington, DC. The successful candidate is responsible for providing support to the Program Manager in the design and development of the federal client’s enterprise software program.

This Developer must be experienced in microservices design, development, and implementation with; .Net Core, AWS Cloud hosting with Kubernetes environments, Architecture experience with AWS background. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop software in accordance with Agile Scrum principles completing assigned user stories within defined sprints.
• Work with architects, other developers, and QA testers to ensure developed items satisfy the acceptance criteria as listed in user stories.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure quality code.
• Commit code in branching methodology as outlined by lead developer in the GitLab repositories.
• Contribute to architecture and design discussions, code reviews, and other technical documentation as required.
• Prepare software demos with business staff to ensure customers can review progress at sprint reviews.

Qualifications

Required Skills: 

• 5 years of experience in IT systems, with 3 years as a .NET developer.
• Experience deploying applications hosted in Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
• Experience with GitLab or similar Git platform
• Working knowledge of K8s and containerized applications
• Experience working with AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda
• Proficiency with DevOps models, practices, and tools such as Kubernetes, Containerization, Pipelines, Microservices, and Cloud Infrastructure
• Agency Clearance Eligible

Desired Skills: 

• Experience with frontend technologies like React
• Experience working within the DHA environment
• Experience supporting DHA AWS Gov Cloud
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
