As Netflix develops its content slate around the globe, production volume at this scale creates unique challenges and opportunities within the live action media supply chain. The Netflix Production Resource Planning team is a global team that enables Netflix to achieve its operational goals and creative pursuits through market analyses, capacity assurance strategies, and resource optimization. We ensure our production partners have access to the tools, talent and services required to produce the best content possible. We support a multitude of production-focused supplier domains including technology manufacturers, production rentals, content innovation, picture & sound post production, scoring stages, VFX and below the line talent.
The Production Resource Planning team is seeking a Coordinator, Production Resource Planning, who will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations of the team, project management for team priorities, identifying opportunities for cross-domain engagements, and maintaining existing deal and initiative reporting.
This individual will work closely with our subject matter experts, regional leadership, cross-functional partners, and the external vendor community. This individual must be comfortable working with multi-layered teams and have excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate would possess keen analytical and operational skills, excellent interpersonal ability and be able to multitask/context switch effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor the Production Resource Planning team’s goals and priorities, communicate project objectives, deliverables and performance indicators across all department functions
  • Collate related tasks and opportunities, integrate them into overarching project plans with timelines and manage actionable deliverables
  • Lead coordinating team, cross-functional and key vendor meetings and managing agendas, ensuring buy-in where decisions are needed and assigning actionable next steps to attendees
  • Contribute to market assessments and sizing of new opportunities, supplier evaluations and provide transaction execution support
  • Maintain data inputs from completed transactions across vendor domains, looking for opportunities to improve process and communicate shared learnings
  • Prepare and present insightful presentations and memos in easily understood and compelling formats to summarize analyses, make recommendations, and/or seek cross-functional alignment
  • Build strong relationships with a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders to communicate team priorities, and streamline workflows

Qualifications

  • Recommended 3 years of experience in media, entertainment, tech, management consulting firm or a related industry, where department/project coordination played a major part in the role
  • Experienced in creating financial models and capable of building analytical assessments using ambiguous data
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a high level of intellectual curiosity, focusing on generating results and exhibiting the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
  • Capable to act independently and navigate in uncertain situations
  • Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a broad range of cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Word/Google Docs, Powerpoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google Sheets
  • A commitment to embrace and advocate for inclusion is essential, including demonstrated cross-cultural understanding and intelligence.
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Prior experience in Media/Entertainment is a plus, but not a prerequisite
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000 - $245,000.
