About the opportunity: 

NetDocuments is seeking an experienced Billing Team Lead to join our dynamic Finance team. As our new Billing Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of the monthly/daily billing process and ensuring that the team meets all established goals and objectives. 

You will be expected to guide, mentor, support team members and collaborate with other departments to ensure success. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in SaaS Billing, SFDC, NetSuite, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a proven track record of leading successful teams. 

What your contributions will be: 

• Ensuring each team member has a development plan in BambooHR, covering general team goals as well as personal goals
• Reseller invoicing and SFDC case escalation handling
• Worldox monthly invoicing
• NetDocuments monthly/daily invoicing
• Responsible for Billing month end close
• Training each team member on associated tools and processes
• Partnering with Customer Success, AR, and Renewals to resolve complex Billing questions
• Coaching and mentoring team members around workload
• Acting as the escalation point for team members on SFDC/NetSuite platform, and process issues
• Responsible for SLAs to establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Design and implement plans for improvement in KPIs
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the Billing processes
• Maintain Billing SOP documentation
• Out of office coverage and support for the team ensuring business continuity
• Support management in enhancing system functionalities to ensure accurate and efficient invoicing
• Other duties as requested by management

What you will need for success: 

• Bachelor’s or degree in Business, Finance, or related field
• 5 years of proven experience as a Billing Team Lead or similar role in a SaaS company
• 3 years’ experience in people management and leadership where you acted as a mentor and coach while building a scalable team
• Keen attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy
• Self-motivated, and service oriented
• Exceptional critical thinking, collaborative and analytical skills
• Experience with project management, accounting software, ERP systems and processes
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Immaculate time management and organizational skill
