Position: Installation Technician Company: Net NV

Overview: As an Installation Technician at Net NV, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch internet service to both residential and commercial customers. You will be responsible for installing and configuring internet connections using fixed wireless and fiber technologies, ensuring seamless and reliable connectivity for our valued clients. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a customer-oriented approach to deliver outstanding service experiences.

Responsibilities:

Internet Service Installation: Execute the installation and setup of internet services for residential and commercial customers in accordance with Net NV's standards and protocols. This includes both fixed wireless and fiber-optic installations.

Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to internet connectivity, signal strength, and equipment functionality during installations and service visits.

Equipment Configuration: Properly configure routers, modems, and other networking devices to ensure optimal performance and security for the customer's internet connection.

Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, explaining the installation process, addressing their inquiries, and providing guidelines on using the internet service effectively.

Quality Assurance: Perform post-installation testing and quality checks to ensure that the internet connection meets the specified performance benchmarks and adheres to company standards.

Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork, including service orders, installation reports, and customer feedback forms.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while installing internet equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements in internet technologies and industry best practices to enhance technical skills and improve service delivery.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members and departments to streamline installation processes, share knowledge, and address complex technical issues.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or education in networking or telecommunications is a plus.
• Proven experience in the installation and setup of internet services using fixed wireless and fiber technologies is preferred but not mandatory. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies is essential.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, IP addressing, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Basic understanding of networking equipment, including routers, switches, and access points.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with customers and address their concerns.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet installation targets.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy equipment during installations.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to customer locations.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
